Markham

Markham is a well-established choice for family homebuyers in the GTA, with a broad mix of housing types and neighbourhoods developed over different periods. Mature communities such as Unionville, Markham Village and Milliken Mills sit alongside planned neighbourhoods including Berczy, Cornell and Victoria Square. Options range from traditional bungalows and spacious detached homes to semi-detached houses, townhomes and modern condos. Differences in home age, lot size, floor plans and streetscapes give first-time buyers and families looking to move or gain more living space a wide range of choices.

Schools, established shopping and dining, and connections to Highways 404 and 407 and GO Transit support everyday family life. Commercial and employment centres along Highway 7 also make Markham an important housing market for those balancing home life and commuting.

Generalized area map for orientation only. Not intended for navigation.

Names reference the TRREB 2023 Q4 community list. Locations include named places and road / public-landmark vicinities, not centres or extents. No Berczy-specific boundary is drawn; roads provide orientation only.

Area information is a draft for review. School boundaries, specialized programs and admission eligibility must be checked with the relevant school board for the specific address; a property purchase does not guarantee admission.
